The installation Retirement Services Officer (RSO) is the source for information for retiring and Retired Soldiers, their Families and, ultimately, surviving spouses
Post Retirement Service Provided:
Counseling for survivors of retired Soldiers and Soldiers who die on active duty regarding their SBP options
Mails quarterly retiree newsletter in conjunction with the local retiree council
Conducts annual Retiree Appreciation Day
Provides information and filing assistance for the Annuities for Certain Military Surviving Spouses-also know as "Forgotten Spouses".
Assists in the processing of DD dorm 2656-7
Assists retired Soldiers and their families with information on benefits and entitlements to include Veterans Affairs, Tricare, Social Security and others Overseas Installation Retiree council which addresses local retiree issues
