The HIRED! Apprentice Program has awesome job opportunities for teens aged 15-18! It gives hands-on work experience and valuable job preparation skills and explores opportunities for life after high school with workshops such as résumé writing, effective job interviews, college exploration, portfolio development, money basics, conflict management, etc.

HIRED! terms are 12-weeks long. Apprentices will be working at FMWR facilities around the garrison such as the Bowling Center, Fitness Centers, Library, Performing Arts Center, Crafts Studio, CYSS facilities, Marketing, Food Service, and many more! At the end of the term, the apprentice gets a cash reward and certificate of completion from Kansas State University. Check out the Hired! Apprentice job description.
